FINE ART

Fine Art Photography takes a mixed-media approach, making use of conventional photographic technique as a foundational medium, to create art. The photographer Ansel Adams is often referenced as a pioneer in fine art photography - illustrating how the boundaries of conventional craft photography is pushed, its rules overshot, and its limitations overcome by mastering science and commingling other media to create a work of art. Craft photography attempts to capture and convey information about a subject; fine art photography is a mixed-media work of art inspired by the original photographic image.

The art and challenge of the Boudoir Artist is to discover, sometimes uncover, and portray that inner beauty which every person harbours. Once the perfect raw image is captured, the Boudoir Artists make liberal use of artistic license and tools of the trade to eventually deliver deeply beautiful art.

Models and photographers attend our workshops to learn hands-on from a master boudoir artist how to go about the process of looking good naked.

Learn to create the most suitable setting within which to picture the person; and above all to strike a rapport with the person to enable a flow of trusting energy between the creative team, the model and the set. In this way we are assured that the model's inner beauty is reflected in the work.

Different types of photography:

Photography literally means 'drawing (or writing) with light'. In the beginning they used silver bromide to coat a clear film to create a thin light sensitive layer onto which they projected (through a camera) an image on to the film – thus drawing a picture with light. Things developed quite a bit. Today we use light sensitive electronic sensors that captures the image digitally. Another form of photography may be a laser show. Although the laser images are written in light, the image disappears almost immediately.

Photography is applied as a craft, or trade.

Craft Photography produce photographs that accurately copy the event photographed. These images record events such as news, social activities, weddings, holidays, etc. Some craft photography is recorded as Video or Movie. There are many types of photographers out there, and each type is a speciality in its own right.

Graphic Artist

Graphic artists sometimes use photographic images to start creating their work. The advertising industry and glamour magazine industry rely heavily on photographers for this type of graphic art.

The Fine Art Photographer, like the graphic artist, makes use of photographic images to start creating her/his work.

Zala Tunzi studios are located in Sarnia, Canada. We make fine art originals mostly for clents in Michigan and Ontario. We do commissioned commercial photography, wedding photography, and specialized studio work. Our studio cannot be described as a standard weddiing photographer , or even a portait photographer - we don't do much conventional craft photography, we do fine art.
